Just like people did centuries ago when they did not have gym machines, use any available equipment to workout. For example even without barbells, you can still use a backpack filled with heavy items to do your squats. Use tree branches to do pull ups or do inverted push-ups on the staircase to increase the angle. A good workout is about the basics of using your bodyweight and carrying heavy items like backpacks just like they do in army training. With these, you will be able to keep your motivation high and keep fit on a budget.
